Aerkair ductless /recirculating fumecupboards have been installed over the last 16 years in most Laboritories and institutions in Great Britain and Ireland.

These fumecupboards are unique in the market place in that they are exactly the same in all respects to the traditional exhaust fumecupboards except that the fumes are extracted from the plenum through an active carbon filter ( specific to the nature of the chemical loading ) which absorbs the fumes during the detention time of the flow.

These units come with a fan/filter module and while they do not require ducting or large centrifugal fans , they do have a cost of ownership and the active carbon filters require replacing every couple of years depending on the chemical fume-loading and condition of pre-filters.

We provide customised and standard fumecupboards.
Constructed in epoxy powdercoated painted metal on a metal support stand.
External depth normally 900mm but can be reduced to slim fit 700mm.
Usually all cupboards can be delivered flat pack for easy access through narrow entry points.
Cupboards can be painted in any colour scheme whilst the standard colour is white.
The baffle is normally made from acid resistant 6mm Trespa or equivalent and plenum from UPVC.
The work–top is normally made from speckled grey trespa while many other colours and options are available such as solid epoxy resin (Simons ) , PVC & Stainless Steel etc.
The cupboards are pre-wired and pre-plumbed to customers requirements inclusive of safety controller indicating safe working status of unit.

UNDERBENCH CABINETS with locks are available for all sizes and ranges of fumecupboards in metal, PVC ,or laminated board incl. special cabinets for storage of solvents or acids etc.

To receive a quotation please specify the working width required as well as services needed such as taps , sinks, sockets, etc . incl. any special surfaces , colours or applications. It is important in the case of ductless units to specify the chemicals intended for use in the fumecupboard so that the correct active carbon filter can be selected for the specific range of applications.
